How does 3D Secure work?

Online security protocol

When shopping on websites verified by Visa or Mastercard, always confirm that it’s you who is making the payment (the cardholder).

Notification

When you make a purchase online, you will get a notification in the Millennium App to authenticate the transaction (make sure you have notifications enabled in the StayON area).

Purchase authentication

To confirm the payment in the app, you must enter the 3 positions of the Multichannel Code or use your fingerprint or facial recognition.

How do I know that I need to authenticate a purchase?

After entering the card details on the merchant's website, you will receive a notification in the app to authenticate the payment. If you do not have notifications enabled on your phone, you must enable them in the Millennium App. To do this, select the profile icon in the upper right corner of the screen, choose the option "Manage notifications" and activate them.

Is 3D Secure service paid?

No. The 3D Secure service is entirely free.
