In 2024, Global Finance magazine once again distinguished Millennium bcp as the “The Best Bank for Sustainable Finance in Portugal”.
This distinction, which repeats those awarded in the last 2 years, focuses on the activity carried out by the Bank in 2023. The winners were chosen by the publication's editors, based on evaluation criteria that included governance policies and objectives, but also concrete actions and measurable achievements in financing sustainability in environmental and social terms.
Global Finance recognizes global, regional and local leadership in sustainable finance, evaluating the financing of initiatives aimed at mitigating climate change, as well as those that contribute to build a more socially sustainable future for Humanity.
For Millennium bcp, this new recognition testifies the merit of its Sustainability strategy, that incorporates and promotes a corporate culture of environmental and social responsibility, based on ethical, inclusive and responsible business practices.
