Who can issue Commercial Paper?
Anyone who meets one of these requirements¹
From the issuance or the Commercial Paper Program.
The guarantee must ensure compliance with payment obligations arising from the issuance or the Commercial Paper Program.
Securities admitted to trading on a regulated market.
The ratio must comply with the terms of the CMVM regulation. Credit institutions, financial companies, insurance companies, and pension fund managers and funds are excluded from this requirement.
The sponsor must hold at least 5% of the issuance in their portfolio until maturity.
