Accommodation expenses

If you need to extend your stay due to a medical prescription, the respective expenses are covered in a hotel up to €75 per day and €3,000 in total.

Expenses for assistance on the slope, transport to and from the medical center to the ski/snowboard resort, among other coverage for this activity.

Abroad emergency dental expenses

For dental emergencies, medical and pharmaceutical expenses appropriate to the situation are covered up to €3,000.

Delay and/or loss of baggage

If lost luggage is found and recovered within 12 hours of arrival at its destination, the insurance guarantees payment for shipping costs to your location or home. It also covers expenses incurred in locating the luggage. The coverage limit is €300 per item, up to a total of €3,000.

Trip cancellation or interruption

In the event of trip cancellation or interruption due to force majeure, whether the trip is planned or already in progress, the insurance guarantees reimbursement of irrecoverable transport and accommodation costs up to €3,000.

Delay or missed flight

In case of a flight delay (up to 15 hours), the insurance guarantees reimbursement of accommodation expenses, provided the air carrier does not cover them. If you miss a connecting flight due to arrival delays, accommodation costs are also covered. Both situations are subject to the stipulated limit.

Is the ON/OFF insurance valid in Portugal?

The coverage is valid exclusively outside of Portugal, except: Trip Cancellation and Interruption, Flight Delay, and Search and Transport of Lost Luggage.

Does the insurance become active immediately upon turning it on in Portugal?

Yes, if location services are enabled and you are in Portugal, the insurance becomes immediately active. However, if you make any changes to the insurance after the first debit (e.g., including an insured person), there will be a variable waiting time of 12 to 36 hours.

Are there any countries not covered by the ON/OFF insurance?

All countries are covered except Portugal. However, if you travel to a country where a war has broken out, the country itself is not automatically excluded from coverage, but the risk of war is. For details on excluded risks, please refer to the General and Special Conditions or Specific Conditions.

How much do I pay for adding new people to the ON/OFF insurance?

You can add up to a maximum of 6 people. You will pay €1.25 for each insured person, per day of active insurance.

Do I need to activate the ON/OFF insurance daily throughout my trip?

No, you only need to activate it on the first day. Once activated, you'll be covered for a daily cost of €1.25. Remember to deactivate it upon your return from the trip.
