Covers reimbursement for medical, surgical, pharmaceutical, and hospitalization expenses abroad, medical monitoring, repatriation or medical transport, accompaniment during hospitalization, urgent shipment of medications, Emergency Medical Information, and contributions towards expenses from trip cancellation, interruption, or flight delay.

This coverage applies:

  • In case of accidents occurring during the trip, anywhere in the world (excluding countries at risk of war or conflict unless approved by the insurer), including during the stay.

Coverage

In the event of death, the insured amount is paid to the beneficiaries. For permanent disability, compensation is paid to the insured based on the insured amount and the clinically determined degree of disability, as outlined in the National Table for the Assessment of Permanent Disabilities.

This coverage applies:

  • In case of accidents occurring during the trip, anywhere in the world (excluding countries at risk of war or conflict unless approved by the insurer), including during the stay.

Coverages for death and permanent disability can be combined.

This coverage ensures reimbursement for repatriation expenses to Portugal and treatment costs for injuries sustained in an accident during the trip.

In case of damage due to fire, loss, or theft of luggage during the trip, compensation is provided up to the limit specified in the Particular Conditions, Individual Certificate, or Additional Endorsement. The coverage applies while the luggage is in the custody of the carrier or at hotels and airports, including theft or break-in .

Special items, such as cameras and video equipment, must be listed in the proposal, with a maximum coverage of 50% of the luggage value and a limit of €500 per item.

For luggage, we refer to:

  • Clothing and personal hygiene items typically carried during a trip;
  • Bags, suitcases, or similar items, with a sub-limit of €500 per item or piece.

This coverage ensures the payment in the event of an accident occurring during the trip while practicing skiing (excluding jumps) and snowboarding as an amateur.

This coverage ensures the payment of compensation required from the insured person for actions in their private life, during trips or stays abroad, that cause bodily injury or material damage to third parties.

In case of total temporary disability, the insured person will receive a daily allowance if the hospital stay exceeds four days, for a maximum period of 360 days.
