Who can be a holder in the Corporate account?

The Company, as the Customer and account holder, and the Authorized User with transaction powers.
During the online account opening process, we will verify the information of the authorized parties with the Bank of Portugal’s Credit Responsibility Center.

After opening my Corporate account, will I be accompanied by a branch?

Yes. During the online process, you will be asked to select the branch where you want the account to be linked.

When will I have the IBAN for the Corporate account?

Once you complete the account opening process, you will receive the IBAN. The account details will only be valid after you receive the confirmation email from us.

What happens to the personal data entered when opening an online Corporate account if the process is canceled?

If the online account opening process is not completed, all the personal data you entered will be deleted after 45 days. In some cases, it may be necessary to keep some of your personal data to comply with legal or tax deadlines, or the requirements under anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing laws.
