Conditions

To open a Corporate Account, the following conditions must be met:

For Companies:

  • Be a private limited company registered and headquartered in Portugal
  • Have all shares held by individual people
  • Have completed the registration of the company's beneficial owners on the "Central Register of Beneficial Ownership" portal
  • Have only one Managing Director as the Legal Representative
  • Be bound solely by the Managing Director's signature

For Managers:

Be of legal age and have a usual residence address in Portugal.

The Company, as the Customer and account holder, and the Manager, as an authorized party with transaction powers.

During the online account opening process, we will check the data of the authorized parties in the Credit Responsibility Central Database of the Bank of Portugal.

To open a Corporate Account online, you must have:

For Companies:

For Managers, only the Digital Mobile Key (CMD) linked to a Citizen Card is required, with a Portuguese address and mobile number, and with an active digital signature.

The Corporate Account is current account for corporate Customers, with a monthly maintenance fee of €7.50 (plus Stamp Duty).

To activate the account, you must make a transfer from a Bank account held by the company, or from a Bank account(s) held by the company's shareholder(s), in an amount equal to or greater than €500.00, in accordance with the Standard Information Sheet for the Corporate Account.

Cash deposits or other types of funds are not accepted as the first credit transaction on the account.
