Conditions

The Digital Mobile Key (CMD) is a secure authentication and digital signature method certified by the Portuguese government. It allows users to access multiple public or private portals and sign digital documents with a single login.

CMD links a mobile phone number to a civil identification number for Portuguese citizens, and to a passport number or residence permit/card for foreign citizens.

Yes. It is essential for opening an account online. It is required for authentication, collecting personal data, and electronically signing documents. If you don’t have one, you can activate it through the autenticação.gov app.

The account is only opened after we have validated and confirmed all the information. This process begins as soon as the application is completed.

Online account opening is integrated into the Corporate website and, according to Global Finance magazine, Millennium bcp was recognized as the Best Bank for Corporate/Institutional Information Security and Fraud Management in Western Europe in 2020.

Opening an account online takes about 15 minutes. We will then contact you during our service hours.

During the process, you will have access to a specialized team to assist you every step of the way and help with any questions that may arise. Simply click on the “Questions? Contact us” option.

You can subscribe to the M Empresa or M Empresa Premium solutions.

These solutions offer a fully integrated set of banking products and services designed to support your company's day-to-day needs. For a fixed monthly fee, you benefit from access to a wide range of products and services at a lower cost than if they were purchased individually.

During the process, we will provide all the necessary information and documentation to keep you informed about the account and all associated products and services.

Once evrything is completed and validated by us, you will receive an email with your account details, as well as the "Contractual Pack Dossier," signed by you and Millennium.

Yes, but only after we have collected the information required to start saving your data. Your data will be stored for 45 days.

Go to "Resume account opening" to continue the process.

If the online account opening process is not completed, all personal data will be deleted after 45 days. In some cases, it may be necessary to keep some personal data to comply with legal deadlines related to legal, tax, or regulatory obligations, or retention periods under anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing laws.

Activation and support

As soon as you complete the online account opening process, the IBAN will be provided.

Account details are only valid after you receive the confirmation email.

Yes. During the account opening process, you can choose the branch where you want to register your account.
