Account opening
If you’re a new customer, the minimum amount to open an account is €250.
Account opening subject to customer acceptance policy.
MB WAY transfers
This applies to instant transfers, SEPA credit transfers +, and SEPA standing orders + in Euros (non-urgent) destined for SEPA-member countries or currencies covered by Regulation (EC) No. 924/2009 and Regulation (EU) No. 2021/1230. The transfers must include the NIB or IBAN (depending on the transfer channel) or be made using SPIN (mobile phone number or corporate identification number - NIPC). Transfers must be executed via automatic channels (ATM, Millennium bcp's internal self-banking network machines, the Millennium App, millenniumbcp.pt, and automated telephone service (VRS) by debiting the account. They are unlimited in number, subject to specific channel limits, and capped at a maximum of €100,000.00 per transaction (or the equivalent value in Swedish Krona or Romanian Leu). Each transfer corresponds to an amount of €1.20.
Exemption from payment of MB WAY Transfer fees made on the Millennium App, in the amount of 0.1% of the transfer amount, even for operations over €30 or a total of €150 or 25 transfers per month.
All fees are subject to the applicable Stamp tax.
Gold/Prestige credit Card
18.8% TAEG and 13.600% TAN for a credit limit of €1,500 paid in 12 equal monthly installments of principal plus interest and charges.
Annual availability fee of €31.20, charged in advance. First charge in the month of card issuance and, in subsequent years, in the same month.
Stamp duty included. Subject to credit risk assessment.
Insurance
Prestige Direto-Start:
In both situations only the equipment owned by the 1st holder is insured.
Prestige Direto-Family:
Both situations only the property of the 1st and 2nd account holders are insured, and the limits shown are the aggregate annual limits for each of the insurances.

1Financial assets
For Financial Assets calculation purposes, the criterion is considered met if it is fulfilled in 2 of the last 3 months, with mandatory compliance in the 2nd month.
For regular income calculation purposes, the following are considered: the sum of salaries/wages, retirement or disability pensions, and the balance of the M Refeição card, duly coded with the ISO code “SALA”, “PENS” or “M REFEIÇÃO CARD BALANCE”, across all current accounts where the Client is the first holder; as well as ATM or branch deposits, POS/TPA credits and incoming domestic and international transfers of €500 or more each, excluding transfers between Millennium bcp accounts with at least one common holder. This criterion is only considered met if, in the 6 months prior to the account package maintenance fee charge, at least 4 credits related to the regular income mentioned above have been made in those current accounts, and in 3 of the last 4 months within that 6-month period.
