Millennium bcp was distinguished, for the 5th consecutive time, as leading company in the fight against climate change, according to the “Europe’s Climate Leaders 2025” ranking by Financial Times and Statista. Bank Millennium also received this distinction for the 3rd time.
The 5th edition of this ranking, developed by this leading international newspaper and by the German company specialized in market and consumer research Statista, highlights the European companies that have made the most progress in reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.
The year-on-year increase in the availability of corporate emissions data means that the 2025 Climate Leaders list comprises 600 companies, from an initial longlist of about 2,000.
There are 10 Portuguese companies, including 3 banks, that are part of this year's edition. Millennium bcp, with a score of 76.1, takes 1st place among banks and 2nd in the global universe of these companies (with 1st being occupied by EDP).
