If one of the parents has had insurance for over a year, by including the baby, he can use the insurance right away, without waiting periods. All treatments and surgeries for congenital diseases or malformations are covered, up to the insurance capital limit

Before getting pregnant, make sure you have completed the 1-year waiting period for childbirth coverage to take advantage of Médis benefits

We offer the first night for a companion during childbirth. This is applicable for those who have had Médis (Options 2 or 3) for more than one year

Baby’s insurance

The conditions remain valid as long as your Médis insurance is active (Options 1, 2 and 3, or Médis Empresas) with hospitalization coverage and no interruptions. They are independent of activating the Médis Baby Program.
If one of the parents has had insurance for less than a year, including your baby in the insurance gives him all of Médis protection.
