Everything about Basic Account
The Basic Account is a current account that allows you to access deposits, make withdrawals, payments for goods and services, direct debits and interbank transfers, by paying a fixed fee.
The Basic Account includes a debit card.
The included financial services are the following:
- Maintenance and management services for a current account;
- Access to account activity via ATMs, homebanking, and Millennium branches;
- Banking transactions including deposits, withdrawals (limited to three monthly transactions at Millennium branches), payments for goods and services, direct debits, and national transfers.
The annual account maintenance fee is €72, broken down monthly by €6, plus Stamp Duty.
If you exceed the authorized limit, Millennium may reject the order received. However, if it is accepted, these are the conditions:
- Nominal annual rate (TAN): 15.700%.
- Interest will be calculated daily on all used capital, based on a 360-day year and paid in arrears on the 30th of each month of the calendar year. Stamp Duty is payable on the interest.
- Any amount deposited or transferred to credit the account will, as soon as available, be applied to the automatic repayment of the credit that has been used.
